Title
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Schedule
- Shifts: 10-hour (8:00 AM-6:30 PM) or 12-hour (8:00 AM-8:30 PM)
- Number of weekend shifts per contract: 3
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Endoscopy experience required
- PACU experience preferred
- Prior 1:1 patient care experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- RN must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy unit, assisting with procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and advanced endoscopic interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions and responses during and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assist in circulating for endoscopic procedures and managing conscious sedation.
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias as needed during procedures.
- Participate in team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)
- Compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
- RTO required with submission and must be built into contract
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Unresponsive or uncooperative candidates risk push/cancel
