Position Overview
BayCare is seeking an experienced IS Project Manager to support our Clinical Systems Portfolio. In this role, you will lead complex technology initiatives that impact clinical operations across the organization, partnering with stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful project delivery from planning through activation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including:
    • Design and build activities
    • Testing and validation
    • Training and adoption
    • Change management
    • Communication planning
    • Go-live activation
  • Oversee project financials, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Serve as a project leader by leveraging information technology expertise to deliver innovative customer-focused solutions.
  • Follow established implementation methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Drive accountability by ensuring project milestones, action items, and deliverables remain on track between team meetings.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with leaders, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and technical teams across all levels of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and one of the following:
  • 4 years of IT Project Management experience, or
  • 6 years of Project Management experience, or
  • 7 years of IT Management experience

OR
High School Diploma/GED and one of the following:
  • 8 years of IT Project Management experience, or
  • 10 years of Project Management experience, or
  • 10 years of IT Management experience

Additional Requirements
  • Demonstrated success leading and facilitating project teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Understanding of healthcare operations
  • Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience
