Job description

As a Wholesale Lending Services Business Manager in the Commercial & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. You'll turn data into actionable insights, support business priorities, and help foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. Your work will directly influence decision-making and the success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) and Commercial Banking (CB) F&BM leadership, shaping and communicating business strategy, performance projections, and trends
  • Design and deliver monthly and quarterly business management and financial reporting packages to communicate results transparently and concisely
  • Coordinate deliverables with business managers, finance, operations, and product teams to support business priorities and transformation initiatives
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to create impactful analyses and recommendations that drive strategy
  • Own headcount and expense forecasting in partnership with Finance; support annual budgeting and business reviews
  • Support the build-out and enhancement of capacity models across WLS functions and activities
  • Participate in the activity-based costing process to allocate expenses across lines of business and downstream client profitability systems
  • Ensure robust financial controls and data integrity to support strategic decision-making
     

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations and messaging
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing business needs and urgent requests
  • Proven ability to partner and collaborate across business and functional stakeholders to drive execution and influence prioritization
  • Track record of establishing and meeting goals, driving enhancement opportunities, and presenting progress to stakeholders
  • Ability to create executive-level presentations, translating data and insights into compelling narratives
     

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business management, management consulting, strategy, COO, CAO, or similar functions
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across the organization
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence
