Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - Case Manager for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1-2 years of case management experience and an Idaho or Compact RN license.

Details
  • Case Management unit within a hospital setting
  • Handles medical necessity review, discharge planning, and utilization review
  • Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active Idaho (ID) or Compact RN license required
  • 1-2 years of case management experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include identifying and communicating changes in the patient's plan of care to the healthcare team
  • Maintains knowledge of community resources and manages the referral process
  • Utilizes length-of-stay (LOS) data to anticipate patient needs and facilitate timely transitions to alternative levels of care
  • Documents initial screenings and discharge plans consistently and in a timely manner in the patient record
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
  • No travel pairs or groups accepted
  • RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
