Responsibilities
  • Manage lines and cables to secure crane rigs to and from barges/vessels
  • Conduct inspections of cables and rigging components on the crane deck
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Provide directional signals to crane operators
  • Lubricate crane buckets
  • Assist in drafting barges
  • Operate barge covers
  • Perform general rigging and shifting of barges
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards on decks, barges, and ship holds
  • Work with hand tools
