Job description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supply guests with information on services available on property.
  • Assist guests following service essentials and direct guests to tables.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Ensure guests in each station are being properly attended.
  • Handle initial complaints and informs manager on duty.
  • Ensure a safe environment for fellow employees and guests.
  • Remain current on casino/resort events and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
  • Utilize proper procedures and documentation for transactions.
  • Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage.
  • Complete and submit related paperwork.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Other Job Functions: 

  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience Required:  Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Education Required:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required:  Ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:  May be required to obtain an Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit.
  • Other Specialized Requirements:  None
