Job description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support intellectual property litigation matters within a fast-paced health pharm/biotech environment in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This contract position will focus on coordinating case materials, organizing discovery records, and helping prepare teams for hearings and trial activity. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive documentation across complex disputes.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain organized case files for intellectual property disputes, ensuring materials are current, accessible, and properly tracked.

• Prepare, categorize, and manage documents used in discovery, including evidentiary records and supporting litigation materials.

• Assist legal teams with trial readiness by assembling binders, exhibits, and other hearing or courtroom documentation.

• Monitor deadlines, filings, and case activity to support the timely progression of litigation matters.

• Use case management systems and litigation support tools to track documentation, case developments, and related records.

• Partner with attorneys and internal stakeholders to gather information, support defense strategies, and maintain accurate matter documentation

• Experience supporting civil litigation matters in a paralegal capacity.
• Working knowledge of trial preparation processes, including exhibit and binder assembly.
• Familiarity with case management software and litigation support systems.
• Background in intellectual property litigation or closely related legal matters is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage large volumes of documents with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills in deadline-driven environments.
