The utility busses, cleans, and resets tables for the next guest. The utility supports bartenders and servers with servicing guests in their dining experience, stocking supplies, and running food.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clear dirty tables, sanitize and reset table for the next guest
  • Assist bar department by stocking ice, glassware, and emptying bus tubs
  • Stock server stations with plates, napkins, forks, ice, glassware
  • Assist the kitchen by running food, stocking glassware and plates (clearing clean dishes from dish station), bussing dirty dishes in a neat, orderly, and respectful way
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Lapez's and its standards, procedures, products, and services
  • Deliver food and drinks to tables, communicate items to the table
  • Identify and distinguish between menu items
  • Embrace the teamwork philosophy by striving to assist other team members
  • Protect guests and the establishment by knowing and following sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
  • Observe the guest through their dining experience and assist the team by filling waters, pre-bussing, picking something up off the floor, etc.
  • General and basic housekeeping duties around the restaurant including but not limited to sweeping floors, cleaning tables and seats, sanitizing restrooms, stocking, etc.
