The School of Nursing and Health Professions (SoNHP) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions with anticipated start date in August 2026. To fill these faculty positions, we are seeking candidates who are collaborative, energetic, and have expertise in nursing education and/or advanced practice nursing (nurse practitioner). Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service. Rank will be determined upon review of qualifications.

Competitive, commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program associated with a regionally accredited institution of higher education

  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) appropriate to content area or near degree completion (final semester)

  • If advanced practice nurse practitioner applicant, must be eligible for national certification in advanced practice and/or recertification eligible with ANCC or AANP.

  • Unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin

  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate and Graduate level teaching experience

  • Distance/online teaching experience

  • Evidence of scholarship and service
