Job description

As a Supervisory Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator at the GS-0301-14, you will be part of the Office of Field Programs, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for providing supervision, expert guidance, and coordination of a unified ADR and mediation program. This includes overseeing program operations, ensuring consistent application of ADR principles, and personally conducting mediations, as required,

Qualifications:To Qualify for the GS-14: You must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated ability to: Oversee all ADR activities for a district to include managing ADR program development and evaluation, providing ADR training, coordinating with the National ADR Coordinator, and mediating complex employment disputes under laws enforced by the Commission and serves as a subject matter expert on conflict management and alternative dispute resolution programs and processes
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level.
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
