Job description

We are seeking a confident, focused, and dynamic Aircraft dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dispatch role, preferably within the aviation industry, as well as have excellent communication skills and be adept at working in an ever-changing environment. The focus of the role is to provide continuing support to the aircraft team, ensuring on-time dispatch, devising flight plans, and other duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and execution of flight paths.
  • Analyze aircraft performance, considering loading, en route winds, and weather forecasts.
  • Monitor Aircraft arrival and departure times and adjust schedules when there are delays.
  • Liaise with the ground crew to ensure that various tasks, including refueling and cleaning, have been completed.
  • Prepare flight paperwork for crew and ensure they receive it.
  • Ensure that all passengers and luggage are loaded onto the aircraft.
  • Prepare flight paperwork such as flight plans, passenger lists, and any other documentation required.
  • Ensure that pre-flight safety and compliance tasks have been carried out.
  • Work alongside the captain to authorize the dispatch of said aircraft.
  • Operate various equipment such as air bridges, stairs, and lifts as required.

  • 2 years of experience within a service-focused role in the aviation industry
  • Keen eye for small details
  • Confident in completing logs and paperwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Health and Safety Certification would be an advantage
  • Driver's License would be an advantage
  • Experience driving and moving different types of machinery and vehicles would be an advantage
  • Confident delegator
