Reports To: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
Location: STL (Saint Louis)
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Assistant Administrator Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven, organized, and growth-oriented Assistant Administrator to support the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the overall leadership and daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for an emerging healthcare leader who is passionate about long-term care.

The Assistant Administrator plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, staff engagement, and exceptional resident care.

Assistant Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the LNHA in overseeing daily facility operations

  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Monitor departmental performance and assist with process improvements

  • Support HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives

  • Assist with survey preparedness and plan of correction implementation

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote quality care outcomes

  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners

  • Step into leadership responsibilities in the Administrator’s absence as appropriate

  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Administrator
