Carolina ASC, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Facility Administrator (RN) to help lead the day-to-day clinical and operational functions of our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an RN leader who understands surgical services, enjoys developing teams, and wants to play an important role in ASC operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, patient care, and organizational growth.
The Assistant Facility Administrator works closely with the Facility Administrator and serves as the designated Administrator in the Administrator's absence.

What You'll Do
ASC Leadership & Operations
  • Assist with the overall day-to-day management and operation of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Serve as the designated Facility Administrator in the Administrator's absence.
  • Help ensure efficient daily operations, patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to nursing, clinical, administrative, and support staff.
  • Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Clinical Leadership
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing and clinical staff.
  • Promote high standards of safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
  • Help ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency preparedness requirements.
  • Support appropriate clinical staffing and scheduling.
  • Serve as a resource to staff and help resolve clinical and operational issues.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable South Carolina Department of Public Health requirements, CMS Conditions for Coverage for ASCs, and AAAHC accreditation standards.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
  • Assist with regulatory surveys, inspections, accreditation activities, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Maintain required records, reports, and documentation.
  • Help ensure ongoing survey readiness and regulatory compliance.

Staff Leadership & Development
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Support employee performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Address personnel concerns in accordance with organizational policies.

Administrative & Financial Support
  • Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and resource utilization.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center, hospital, surgical, or comparable clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or operational experience.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead teams and manage competing operational priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience.
  • Previous nursing leadership, ASC management, Assistant Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, or Director-level experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMS Conditions for Coverage, AAAHC accreditation standards, and South Carolina ASC regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with QAPI, regulatory surveys, accreditation, infection prevention, or emergency preparedness.
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Experience supporting ASC scheduling, staffing, budgeting, purchasing, or operational performance.
