Job description

There is an immediate need for an EWRS Service Team Coordinator to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site support during core hours, Monday through Friday, and is ideal for individuals seeking steady full-time work in a federal office environment.

Position Summary
The EWRS Service Team Coordinator is responsible for administering the Electronic Work Request System (EWRS) - also known as the "DF" (Disposition Form) System or "EDT" (Engineering Data Tasker) - in support of Huntsville Engineering & Support Center (HNC) programs and directorates. This role serves as the primary point of contact for CEHNC users, ensuring requests are properly assigned, tracked, and resolved. Services must be performed in full compliance with federal security, records management, and information assurance requirements.
Essential Duties
  • Perform day-to-day Service Section operations and provide CEHNC programs and branches with instruction on EWRS use
  • Serve as primary point of contact for CEHNC users; troubleshoot system issues and escalate unresolved problems to the technical POC or EDS-E Branch Chief
  • Monitor EWRS to confirm requests are assigned to the correct branch within 24 hours; follow up directly when assignment is delayed
  • Track open actions against suspense dates and engage assignees and taskers on overdue items
  • Maintain a QC Record Log of EWRS-related email correspondence in MS Teams
  • Maintain a Record Log of technical issues, including issue logging, suspense date assignment, and resolution tracking
  • Represent the EWRS process during system or platform changes, coordinating with the CEHNC user base and providing training or updates as needed
  • Safeguard government property and access credentials
  • Follow all USACE, installation, and facility security procedures

Communication & Scheduling
  • Communicate with supervisors and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Use Microsoft Teams, computers, and mobile phones for scheduling and work updates
  • Prepare and submit a monthly status report (DFs received, DFs not assigned within 24 hours, coordination actions taken, and results)
  • Support and attend quarterly coordination meetings with CEHNC; provide advance notice of schedule changes when required

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to pass installation access screening (NCIC-III/TSDB vetting) for unescorted access to Redstone Arsenal
  • Authorized to work in the United States; subject to E-Verify
  • Prior customer service, administrative, or coordination experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and/or Power BI-based systems
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and written communication skills
