Job description

Description:Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Translator fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English to support business operations for a temporary 6-month assignment. This role will be based offsite in the Charlotte, NC area and will focus on accurate translation and interpretation of both written and verbal communications to ensure effective collaboration between English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, real-time verbal interpretation between Mandarin Chinese and English during meetings, calls, and virtual discussions
  • Translate written documents, including emails, reports, policies, and technical materials, ensuring clarity and cultural accuracy
  • Review and proofread translated materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency
  • Serve as a communication bridge between teams, ensuring intent and tone are appropriately conveyed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and employee information
  • Support cross-functional teams with translation needs as required
