Job description

The successful candidate will work with the entire Asset Management Team. They are directly responsible for the performance of each property in VTT Management Inc's portfolios. Our new analyst will need the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills and the ability to maintain a practical balance among multiple priorities. We are looking for someone who is outgoing with a proven track record in the Property Management field. Primary Responsibility is to assist the Asset Management Team in overseeing a portfolio of assigned multifamily/commercial properties. This will include the review and assessment of the individual properties' operating performance as well as the creation and execution of business plans to drive long-term value.
Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to :
  • Assist in monthly reporting duties for the Asset Management department
  • Assist management and team members in organizing and establishing budgets and forecasts
  • Assist management and team members in their day to day responsibilities
  • Contribute to any ad-hoc analysis the Asset Management department provides including; ad-hoc management reporting, ad-hoc vendor reporting, etc
  • Review and analyze reports from property management staff
  • Basic understanding of financial/accounting principles and systems
  • Ability to manage details in a complex environment
  • Ability to work well independently, and interface effectively with multiple and diverse key players
  • Can work effectively on numerous processes simultaneously
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy on all analysis and reports
  • Performs first level analysis for less complex organizations covering all significant matters and showing the basis for conclusions drawn
  • Promotes teamwork and cooperation to resolve conflicts and ensure achievement of organizational objective

Qualifications: * Previous Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager experience is required * Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have a high level of professionalism * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies * Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting * Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines * Must have strong ability to interpret complex commercial lease language, related real estate documentation and have general property accounting knowledge * Previous knowledge of RealPage/Onesite property management software is highly preferred
