Job description

Job Summary
Plans, develops, and executes comprehensive Asset Protection (AP), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program for the field. Designs program methodologies that drive partnerships with internal stakeholders and delivers profit improvements through shrink elimination, injury prevention, and compliance.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Plans and executes company designed AP and EHS program within assigned area and scope.
  • Plans, develops, and executes short- and long-term strategies to protect people, the environment, and company assets, including physical security infrastructure, operational excellence, and loss elimination.
  • Coordinates and maintains partnerships with all company departments to positively impact Asset Protection and Safety metrics.
  • Develops, implements, and ensures completion of high-quality training to support loss elimination and injury prevention.
  • Evaluates operational processes for areas of opportunity and shrink elimination and develops plans to mitigate losses.
  • Establishes standards and performance expectations for asset protection and injury prevention goals.
  • Identifies theft and fraud activity within the field and partners with management to resolve cases .
  • Manages a team of Asset Protection and Safety Professionals, including performance management, coaching, and development.
  • Attends incident review calls, ensures corrective actions are completed in partnership with DC Leadership, and develops action plans when goals are not met.

Nature and Scope
  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
