Job description

We are hiring an Asset Servicing Analyst to support our growing business, with a primary focus on the Private Bank Tax Smart Long/Short margin corporate action function. This role is designed for a candidate with relevant operations/asset servicing experience who can bring an innovative mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to deliver first-class service in a deadline-driven, control-focused environment.

As an Asset Servicing Analyst within the Asset & Wealth Management line of business, you will be an integral part of the Asset Servicing organization, supporting Corporate Actions and closely partnering with teams across Front Office, Finance, Tax, Legal, Advisors, Client Service, Portfolio Managers, and global Operations to ensure accurate, timely execution and risk mitigation for the firm and clients.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the Corporate Actions function within the Asset Servicing lifecycle, with primary focus on Tax Smart Long/Short margin corporate action workflows.
  • Support multiple product types (e.g., Equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Closed-end Funds) across U.S. and international markets.
  • Review and action live elective events (e.g., Exchanges, Bid-Tender Offers, Rights) and ensure accurate elections and execution prior to market deadlines.
  • Review and reconcile elections; resolve discrepancies and manage/escalate exceptions resulting from workflows.
  • Execute instructions from Advisors, Client Service, Portfolio Managers, internal partners, and global teams with timely and accurate delivery.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to Front Office inquiries and communicate clearly on risks, deadlines, and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies; maintain strong risk awareness and a key-controls mindset.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure required metrics/MIS are completed by deadlines and kept current.
  • Drive continuous improvement-identify root causes, recommend enhancements, and adapt rapidly to changing market conditions and shifting business priorities.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • 2+ years of Operations Banking and securities/investment products experience 
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to work on a team in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; takes ownership to accomplish goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; strong intellectual capacity for process improvements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of operating/compliance standards and audit requirements; acute awareness of high-risk areas and key controls.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Private Banking operations experience
  • Strong AI skills (including prompt engineering) and demonstrated ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve investigations, documentation quality, and workflow efficiency
