Job description

Role Summary

URBN is searching for a Regional Asset Protection Manager to join us in Los Angeles, California! This role will report to the Regional Director of Asset Protection. Our Manager will be accountable for store's shrink results across multiple Brands in their assigned region. You will execute company shrink programs to protect the company assets with close working partnerships from the Operations Teams. 

Role Responsibilities
  • Investigates and resolves internal theft issues utilizing industry proven Interview and Interrogation skills, CCTV, Exception Reporting, and Hotline calls, etc.
  • Completes Operational Store Assessments and store visits with emphasis on teaching and coaching, offering solutions to issues within company LP guidelines.
  • Participates in regional, district and store brand meetings, conference calls and when possible conducts stores visits with district and regional partners.
  • Provides consultation to field management on all shrink related issues: internal/ external theft, physical security, operations, safety, POS controls, etc. 
  • Execution of company's high shrink program. 
  • Liaison between Law Enforcement and Store Management. 
  • Conducts extensive loss prevention training seminars for employees, managers, and district managers. 
  • Completes store inventory preparation visits.
  • Understands physical security of retail space.   
Role Qualifications
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport and driver's license
  • Able to sustain extensive background check and furnish verifiable references that may be contacted.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel extensively between stores
  • Must have at least 5 years specialty LP experience in a multi-store environment preferably in the fashion business. 
  • Knowledge of Exception Based Reporting and file management databases. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of Interview and Interrogation skills per industry standards, including phone interviewing.  Wicklander Zulawski  or Reid methods.
  • Extensive use and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
