Job description

Asset Protection Associate

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an Asset Protection Associate to support our distribution center located in Ontario, CA. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, criminal behavior or illegal entry. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Schedule and Compensation

Friday through Sunday- 4:00am to 4:30pm; Starting at $21.50 per hour

Job Details

What to expect as an Asset Protection Associate:

  • Monitor facility welcome center and regulate facility access and egress of authorized pedestrian and vehicle traffic
  • Review scheduled appointments with Appointment Schedule and system
  • Verifying in-bound scheduled trailers as they arrive at gate
  • Communicate with Shift Supervisor as to the location of in-bound trailers
  • Perform daily yard check on all trailers
  • View empty out-bound trailers prior to leaving premises
  • Log out empty trailers through YMS
  • Record drop trailers and no show appointments
  • Conduct continuous inspection tours of assigned areas to assure that doors and windows are properly secured and have not been compromised

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in security or as an asset protection clerk is a plus
  • Working knowledge of facility operations and safety practices
