Job description

SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Asset Protection Specialist in building and developing programs and initiatives to reduce shrink, and safety, expenses, along with supporting the field.

Coordinates threat management and leads crisis response to ensure a safe work environment. Conducts and resolves internal investigations.

Works with the Asset Protection Specialist to develop safety strategies and programs that support the needs of the internal customers and business format. Responsible for the development, improvement, implementation, execution, and effectiveness of all Asset Protection initiatives and strategies designed to ensure the achievement of the organizations shrink and safety goals.


RESPONSABILITIES

โ€ข Work closely with senior leadership in order to foster awareness to ensure a high degree of safety, service, and quality to prevent internal theft; initiate resolutions when losses occur by utilizing all tools, reports, and investigative strategies.

โ€ข Monitor customer and employee activity to detect and deter theft, fraud, and policy violations.

โ€ข Document and report security incidents, thefts, and policy violations; assist law enforcement when necessary.

โ€ข Collaborate with other leaders to educate team members about stock shortage programs and recommend improvements to minimize theft and fraud

โ€ข Educate employees on loss prevention techniques and promote a culture of security awareness.

โ€ข Advocates to ensure associates have a safe environment to shop/work in. (OSHA requirements and general liability adherence)

โ€ข Monitor and implement Safety, OSHA related environmental programs

โ€ข Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security threats.

โ€ข Manage LP technology solutions including Visitor Management system, Access Control, Alarm, Fire systems, CCTV, repairs and installs.

โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

โ€ข Strong observational and analytical skills

โ€ข Experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement (preferred)

โ€ข Familiarity with surveillance systems and security protocols

โ€ข Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations

โ€ข Excellent communication and reporting skills
