Job Summary:
Iron Bow Technologies is a next generation solutions provider delivering mission success across government, healthcare, and commercial industries. The IT Support & Asset Management Technician will provide technical support, manage inventory, and ensure the timely delivery and maintenance of IT equipment while collaborating across departments to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, and related peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, diagnose, upgrade, and replace computer hardware and equipment.
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries regarding hardware-related issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and document hardware failures, repairs, and replacements.
• Create, manage, and maintain tickets related to parts orders, asset tracking, and equipment disposition.
• Receive, store, inventory, package, and ship materials in accordance with operational requirements.
• Verify incoming shipments, inspect materials for quality and accuracy, and ensure open purchase orders align with received goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and accountability through inventory control processes.
• Monitor operational dashboards and ticket queues to ensure timely processing and completion of work.
• Prepare IT assets for disposal through approved third-party vendors.
• Establish and improve operational processes and procedures with management approval.
• Maintain documentation to support operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support customer and contract requirements.
• Support warehouse operations through the safe operation of pallet jacks, cherry pickers, rental trucks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience providing technical support services.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with computer hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and service management processes.
• Experience with inventory management, asset tracking, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Experience creating, managing, and maintaining tickets related to parts orders and equipment disposition.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, including walkie pallet jacks, and driving rental trucks while adhering to load securement and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle equipment, tools, and materials.
Preferred:
• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with IT asset management tools and inventory control systems.
• Experience preparing IT assets for disposition and coordinating with third-party disposal vendors.
