Job Description
Allstate Financial Services has an opportunity for an Operations Division Manager who will give a strategic perspective to our Financial Services Broker Dealer. This is a hybrid opportunity managing a team of associates in the Broker Dealer operations. Your experience in strategic thinking, managing initiatives and compliance/regulatory oversite will be critical in this leadership role. The selected individual would support the achievement of division, department, and enterprise goals as well as objectives, programs, policies, and procedures in a business area.
Note: This opportunity will require the selected individual to work in office three days a week in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Key Responsibilities
• Manages multiple processes and/or high complex or regulated processes
• Coordinates meetings to provide or obtain complex information regarding projects and work processes
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of business area's processes and best practices
• Evaluate division's business plans and new initiatives to make recommendations for the impact on staffing, resources and structure
• Assigns key responsibilities to employees
• Analyze data in order to benchmark for improvement and present findings to leadership team
• Monitor management reports to evaluate progress towards department goals
• Analyze management information reports to determine progress to stated goals and objectives
• Assists employees and leadership team in interpreting information received from business units or other departments and effectively link the communications to business unit and company objectives
• Notify appropriate individuals of concerns/opportunities and make recommendations for solutions
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
• Required: FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 (or be willing to obtain within 6 months of start date)
• People management experience
