Job description

We are seeking a skilled Designer to join this expanding team. This role is primarily focused on marketing and promotional creative for Hallmark+, our rapidly growing streaming service, with additional opportunities to support in‑app UI design as needed. The Designer will also occasionally support Hallmark Channel initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and strong collaborator with a passion for digital marketing, SVOD branding, and visual storytelling.

This position is centered on creating marketing‑led, digital‑first design assets in support of Hallmark+, while also contributing to select platform design and in‑app UI needs. The designer will partner closely with the Creative Director and collaborate with teams across marketing, product and design.

The salary range for this job is between $62,200-$83,000. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver marketing and promotional assets for Hallmark+, including SVOD artwork, hero imagery, partner platform designs, seasonal and campaign‑based creative, and email marketing components
  • Execute work with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, polish, and consistency across all deliverables
  • Support brand‑forward storytelling and visual consistency across all marketing touchpoints
  • Contribute to in‑app UI and platform design as needed, supporting layouts, components, and visual refinement within established design systems
  • Collaborate with partners across marketing, product, and content to translate creative direction into effective digital assets
  • Occasionally support marketing or brand needs for Hallmark Channel
  • Adapt and extend existing brand systems across marketing and product use cases while maintaining consistency
  • Balance longer‑term campaign work with short‑term, fast‑turn marketing requests
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Work independently while actively contributing to a collaborative creative team

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in digital design
  • Undergraduate degree with a major in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or a related field
  • Strong interest or experience in digital marketing creative, SVOD branding, or streaming‑focused design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Foundational experience with Figma, including editing existing files, working within shared design systems, and collaborating with other designers and cross‑functional partners
  • Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals such as layout, hierarchy, and visual consistency
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills for digital and marketing environments
  • Experience with digital image production, retouching, and asset optimization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical and file‑management issues
  • Ability to work within established brand guidelines and design systems
