Regional Training Manager (RTM)

The Regional Training Manager (RTM) plays a critical role in advancing this mission. As the first point of contact for new clinical team members, the RTM leads training, supports onboarding, and ensures clinicians are set up for success from day one. This role is ideal for a strong clinician and mentor who is passionate about developing others and maintaining clinical excellence.

Role Impact:
RTMs are instrumental in shaping the quality, consistency, and experience of our clinical team. Through training, mentorship, and leadership, they ensure FirstSteps continues to deliver exceptional care to the children and families we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to interview and select candidates aligned with FirstSteps' mission and values
  • Lead and facilitate New Instructor Trainings, including in-person instruction, modeling, and skill development
  • Administer training assessments (written and field-based) to ensure clinical readiness
  • Support team members in preparing for RBT certification, including facilitating study groups
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and clinical support throughout the first 90 days of employment and beyond
  • Maintain active clinical engagement through direct services and coverage support as needed

Qualifications

We are seeking RBTs who:

  • Hold an active RBT or BCaBA credential
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing ABA intervention
  • Are passionate about compassionate, person-centered care
  • Enjoy collaboration and teamwork
  • Are legally authorized to work in the United States

Starting Pay Rate is $28/hour
