Job description

Richardson Contract Furniture a manufacturer of Office and Institutional furniture is currently seeking Production Associates to play a key role in the manufacturing process by supporting assembly, sanding/finishing preparation, and packing of products.  This position helps ensure that all products meet quality standards and are completed safely, efficiently, and on time to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly

  • Assemble wood and laminate components according to specifications and work instructions
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools safety and effectively
  • Ensure accuracy and qualify of assembled products

Sandy & Prep

  • Sand wood surfaces to prepare for finishing
  • Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, consistent finish
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sanding area

Packing & Shipping Prep

  • Package finished products to ensure safe transport
  • Label, wrap, and prepare items for shipment
  • Assist with staging orders for pickup and delivery


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly is a plus(not required)
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team 
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic

Our team works 4 10 hour days - Mon-Thurs 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

We offer a competitive benefit package with benefits eligible 1st of the month following hire date.
