Wax Assembler (3rd Shift)

Location: Mentor, OH
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Join Our Team

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wax Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Mentor, Ohio. In this role, you will assemble wax patterns and components used in the investment casting process while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble wax patterns and components according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Inspect wax assemblies for defects and quality concerns.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete assembly operations.
  • Record production and quality data as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily time and production records.
  • Handle materials safely and follow all company safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
  • Follow all quality standards and work instructions.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or related industrial experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in investment casting, aerospace manufacturing, foundry operations, wax assembly, production assembly, manufacturing operations, quality inspection, quality control, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, fixtures, racks, tables, and other manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance record.
  • Ability to meet production goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, and move materials as required.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
