Assembly Technician

Job Post Summary

Our Client is hiring multiple Assembly Technicians to support a large scale data center construction project. This is a hands on role for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who are comfortable using basic tools, following assembly instructions, and working in an active construction environment.

Candidates with experience in construction, assembly, manufacturing, installation, warehouse operations, or other hands on environments are encouraged to apply.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assemble prefabricated components and equipment used in data center construction

  • Follow basic drawings, work instructions, and material lists

  • Use common hand and power tools safely

  • Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and assemble materials

  • Install brackets, supports, equipment frames, cable trays, and similar components

  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials

  • Assist electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical installers as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Identify damaged materials or quality concerns

  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures and PPE requirements

  • Participate in daily safety meetings

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with your hands

  • Ability to follow step by step assembly instructions

  • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math

  • Strong attendance and reliability

  • Dependable transportation

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Construction, manufacturing, assembly, installation, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred

  • Previous data center experience is not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

  • Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, hearing protection, and fall protection when required

Additional Information

  • This is a high volume hiring project with multiple immediate openings.

  • The interview process consists of an initial phone interview followed by an in person interview.
