Assembly Production Manager
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a motivated and hands-on Assembly Production Manager for a company based in Cookeville, TN. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for leading production teams, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across assigned shifts.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Assembly Production Manager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes and productive resources in order to fulfil the established manufacturing, quality, cost and safety objectives.
  • Organize workflows and assign tasks based on team members’ skills and technical capabilities.
  • Monitor daily operations, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and coach team members, including training new operators or team leads.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
  • Oversee performance of personnel, equipment, and workstations while maintaining skill matrices.
  • Track and report KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement efforts.
Assembly Production Manager Qualifications and Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar position, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic computer and math proficiency.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
