Aerotek is Hiring for Assembly Line Workers in Lebanon, TN!

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling, inspecting, and testing hardware products in a manufacturing environment. You will work within the hardware department to build high-quality products using hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns while following established safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and complete products within the hardware department according to specifications and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install hinges on toolbox doors accurately and safely.
• Operate rivet guns to install panels and other components as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and positioning parts throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
• Report any defects, issues, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by following best practices and suggesting process improvements when appropriate.

Essential Skills

• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
• Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs on a regular basis.
• Comfort with standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Consistent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly, including assembly line work, is preferred but not required.
• Experience using rivet guns to install panels on truck bodies or similar equipment.
• General labor experience in a shop or production environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes, with training provided for motivated candidates.
• Experience working with hardware components such as hinges, panels, and toolboxes.
• Prior experience in an assembly role within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
