Job Description

The Assembly Line Worker performs within the hardware department to assemble, inspect, and test products to meet strict quality standards. This role involves using hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns to install components on toolbox doors and truck bodies while following established safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the hardware department to assemble and complete products according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards before release.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to install hinges on toolbox doors with precision and consistency.
  • Operate rivet guns to install panels on equipment, ensuring secure and accurate placement.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and carrying components as part of the assembly process.
  • Work independently to complete assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively as part of a production team.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support production goals and team performance.
  • Continuously learn and improve assembly techniques, accepting training and feedback to enhance skills.
