Overview

Fillauer is hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Technician in Chattanooga, Tennessee to produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies to meet production schedules.


Responsibilities

  • Assembles products using instructions, bills of materials and engineering drawings.
  • Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Documents actions by electronically recording labor for each job.
  • Ensures quality standards are met.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Identifies any defective items and handles according to established procedures.
  • Resolves assembly problems by communicating with peers or supervisors.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards.
  • Uses hand tools, power tools, custom fixtures, drill presses, arbor presses, ovens, heat guns and other light duty equipment.
  • May perform painting, laser etching, sewing and/or plastic thermoforming.
