JOB TITLE: Line Packer
OPEN SHIFTS: 2nd, 3rd shift (10 on each)
PAY RATE 2nd: $18.00 (2pm-10pm)
PAY RATE 3rd: $19.50 (10pm-6am)
APPLY TODAY! We are seeking Line Packers to join the team immediately.
Under the general supervision of the Machine Operator, Area Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager; the General Production Worker will be responsible to follow directions for various plant tasks to ensure good quality products are efficiently manufactured at all times.
Responsible for performing various general plant tasks; packaging , feeding product to the line and/or packaging , making boxes , applying tamper seals , closing lids , etc. that help to ensure good quality product is produced at all times
  • Responsible for performing any task that will be associated with the assembly or packaging of the product.
  • Responsible to perform the job responsibilities of a back-up Machine Operator for coverage purpose from time to time.
  • Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP's (Good Manufacturing
  • Practices) and Health and Safety policy at all times.
  • Responsible for practicing and adhering to plant policies and best practices.
  • Responsible for following plants core values; Respect, Direct Communication & Quality.
  • Responsible for other reasonable duties as assigned by the Area Leader/Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
  • Follow company's health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes.
  • Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your supervisor.
  • Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company.
  • Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation.
Indicate any food safety responsibilities as per the local requirements, as well as noting if a trained backup is required.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour
