Assembly Line Team Leader 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
The 2nd Shift Assembly Line Team Leader in West Point, GA supervises team members and reports directly to the Group Leader. This role is essential in promoting positive team dynamics and demonstrating strong leadership. The Team Leader manages the production process within their designated area to achieve company goals while adhering to the company Vision, Core Values, and Employee Guidebook.
Our positions are full-time, year-around employment with paid training.

Hours:
Monday - Friday
1st Shift: 6:30am - 6:00pm
2nd Shift: 6:30pm - 6:00am
Essential Functions:
  • Comply with policies and procedures.
  • Uphold Core Values and certification standards (IATF16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Treat all team members with respect and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS):

Technical Responsibilities:
  • Participate in achieving safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Train new and existing employees while maintaining training documentation.
  • Monitor work operations and provide necessary direction.
  • Proactively address production obstacles and recommend process improvements.
  • Understand and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Direct and validate training for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and promote departmental goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and support organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Group Leader to resolve conflicts and enforce discipline.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education (2 years of experience equals 1 year of education).
