Dura-Line is hiring for a Production Associate - Material Recovery & Reel Assembly in Salt lake City, UT
SCHEDULE:
  • DAY SHIFT, 645am-7pm on a 2-2-3 SCHEDULE
  • NIGHT SHIFT 645pm-7am on a 2-2-3 SCHEDULE
  • WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
  • OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, Then REPEAT.
  • Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
  • Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!!!
  • One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
  • Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime)

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus is paid out over 180 days. $500 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days.
In this position as an Offline Operator you will be working in the Offline department. This is a key position in which you will be responsible for secondary function of product, ensuring quality standards and supplying added value products to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a multi-tasker that can assist in meeting the customer demand while maintaining our high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain and clean equipment and report defects.
  • Operate hydraulic and electric reeler, lift truck, table saw, rotor and band saw.
  • Parallel or coil duct.
  • Inspect products for quality nonconformance.
  • Assemble wooden and steel reels.
  • Custom build reels.
  • Process cable.
  • Paint and stencil reels.
  • Assist grinding crew with scrap pipe.
  • Requirements:
  • Prior forklift experience required
  • At least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in manufacturing.
  • Some experience in a fast-paced or high-speed environment, standardized work, safe work, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and perform basic math.
  • Physical requirements: move around obstacles, wear required PPE, stand and walk for 8-12 hours, work near hot machinery, and climb, reach, squat, and bend

The compensation for this position is typically start at $21.50/Hour.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
