Job description
A leading manufacturer supporting cutting-edge technologies across advanced electronics and high-tech industries is hiring for multiple Mechanical Assemblers in Hillsboro.
These are full-time, temp to hire roles. An excellent opportunity to join a growing team where collaboration, continuous improvement, and hands-on technical skills are highly valued.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using a variety of hand and power tools in accordance with engineering specifications and manufacturing procedures. This role plays a critical part in supporting production operations and ensuring high-quality product output.
Mechanical Assembler Job Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials to accurately assemble mechanical products and equipment
- Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, torque tools, wrenches, and measuring devices
- Assemble mechanical parts, frames, panels, brackets, and hardware according to specifications
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
Mechanical Assembler Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year recent mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience using hand and power tools such as torque wrenches and drills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with/without accommodation
- Steel-toe shoes required
