We are currently seeking an Assembler, with the below qualifications:

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 3:00pm- 11:00pm

Professional Attributes

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in assembly.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices is an advantage.
  • Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical or electrical assembly (depending on the product).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems or willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

Desired Skills and Experience

Assembly & Production Tasks

  • Perform manual or semi-automated assembly of mechanical, electrical, or electronic components.
  • Follow standardized work instructions, blueprints, or engineering drawings with high accuracy.

  • Provide constructive input to improve workflow, reduce waste, or resolve bottlenecks.
  • Support cross-training initiatives and assist team members when needed.

System & Documentation Proficiency

  • Accurately input production data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor).
  • Use barcode scanners or tablets for tracking work-in-progress and inventory movements.
  • Follow digital instructions or electronic work orders from the system interface.
  • Maintain traceability records and documentation for regulatory or customer audits.

Basic Analytics & Process Monitoring

  • Monitor takt time and cycle times to identify inefficiencies or slowdowns.
  • Identify trends in assembly errors or material defects and report them to the team lead.
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting changes to processes or layout.
  • Use visual management tools (charts, boards) to track key metrics on the shop floor.
