This full-time, onsite role is centered on providing high-quality patient care within our state-of-the-art Surgical Center. Work Environment

The Cardiology Clinic operates within a robust Surgical Center, equipped with cutting-edge technology and facilities that empower our staff to excel in patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical and mental assessments of patients by performing comprehensive or problem-focused examinations and eliciting detailed medical histories.
  • Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostics to formulate a clear understanding of patient conditions and healthcare needs.
  • Prescribe and manage medication therapies and therapeutic interventions in line with established medical protocols, ensuring attention to efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement tailored, outcomes-focused patient treatment plans based on assessment findings, evidence-based guidelines, and collaboration with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Engage in patient and family counseling, educating them on medical procedures, management of health conditions, and dietary and behavioral health recommendations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely referrals when necessary.
  • Provide specialized consultation for conditions relevant to the cardiology specialty and manage care in varied healthcare settings, including inpatient and emergency scenarios.
  • Perform invasive procedures within the scope of your practice, supported by your supervising physician.
  • Adapt to departmental needs by undertaking additional patient care duties outside of the usual schedule, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal Physician Assistant will primarily work with adult patients suffering from cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension. You will collaboratively manage complex cases, assisting both acute and chronic patients, thereby playing a crucial role in improving health outcomes through personalized care plans.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program and possess current licensure as a Physician Assistant.
