We are seeking a reliable individual for a position as a Asphalt Roller Operator to join a dedicated and hard-working team in Wilton Campus. If you are serious about your next job, D.A. Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).
Essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation):
  • Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as backup spotting and hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocol

Job functions include but are not limited to:
  • Ability to perform asphalt paving in accordance with DOT, local commercial specifications
  • Must partner with other crew members to pave roadways utilizing roller equipment and to perform additional tasks of other positions per plan specifications as instructed by supervisors to insure daily schedule/estimates are met
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/DOT regulations for safe working procedures and environment
  • Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes
  • Ability and willingness to work along the interstates and thruways
  • Ability to withstand common vibratory motion associated with operation of most roller equipment and sometimes rough terrain

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 5 years' experience civil heavy highway construction
  • 2 years' experience on roller or similar equipment
  • Familiarity with the State of NY and VT specifications, along with heavy highway construction and paving
  • Ability to travel as needed, including night work and weekend work when required
  • Must be able to adapt to and work in extreme weather conditions
  • Kubricky Construction Corp. is a drug-free workplace. Must be able to pass pre-hire drug screen

Compensation:Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
Salary Range: $41,600-$87,500
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
