Warehouse Associate

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the Warehouse Associate position.

A Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps; following proper forklift spotting procedures; following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following Company steel standard guidelines; and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven warehouse experience.
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Team player with organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)
