Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments and greet patients upon arrival.
  • Ensure a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
  • Assist patients with registration and check-in procedures.
  • Enter patient demographic and billing information accurately.
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect/post payments to patient accounts.
  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis, as needed.
  • Call physician offices to confirm the accuracy of test orders.
  • Monitor and log patient wait times regularly.
  • Notify the supervisor of any patient issues in a timely manner.
  • Promote and provide information about patient services.
  • Manage office supplies to ensure proper inventory levels.
  • Open and close the office when necessary.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.

  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, as needed.
