We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PRN - Day Shift) to join our Rehab Services team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain mobility, restore function, and improve overall quality of life in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Position Details

  • Position: Physical Therapist
  • Department: Rehab Services
  • Schedule: PRN | Day Shift (Monday-Friday, hours vary)
  • Compensation: Based on experience
  • Travel Required: None
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Some oversight of PTAs, aides, and support staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment goals, recovery expectations, and home exercises
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), rehab aides, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure timely charge entry
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and staff education activities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred:

  • Experience in pediatrics and/or neurology
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
