About us

ASAP Cincinnati is a small, family-owned-and-run company offering outpatient behavioral health and substance use services for teens and young adults with strong support for their families. Our multidisciplinary staff collaborates well and encourages each other.

Clinical Staff

Our clinical team is responsible for implementing evidence based treatment, leading groups, and care managing clients. We provide the highest quality clinical treatment for the teens and families served by ASAP.

Educational/Licensure Requirements

  • Mental Health Licensure for DBT and Substance Use Treatment position (ex: LPCC, LPC, LSW, LISW, MISW, Psy.D., etc.)
  • Substance Use Licensure for Substance Use Treatment position (ex: CDCA, LCDC II/III, LICDC) - primarily weekend hours
  • Training in behavioral health and substance use disorders
  • Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy if applying to lead mental health groups
  • Understanding of adolescents and their development
  • If in recovery, must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years sobriety.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead groups
  • Complete clinical notes in a timely manner

Private Practice Opportunity

Clinicians who are successful in leading groups have the opportunity to develop a private practice at a higher per hour rate.

Hours

Groups meet in the afternoons and on weekends. Our staff has some flexibility on which days they work, but must be generally available during these hours. Substance use treatment staff hours will be primarily on the weekend. We have between 15-25 hours to offer depending on licensure and skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Founded in 2008 by Dr. Richard Baum and led since 2021 by Dr. David Baum, we are a family-owned-and-operated practice with deep roots in the Cincinnati community, located in the Blue Ash area.
