Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. The Weekend Supervisor will oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care is provided to our residents. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to resident-centered care. This position comes with a $8,000 bonus paid out over quarterly.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to a diverse population of residents, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor resident responses
Perform nursing assessments and identify changes in resident condition, communicating concerns promptly to providers and appropriate team members
Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts to promote quality care and compliance with facility standards
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to develop and implement effective care plans
Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of resident care, assessments, and treatments
Promote resident safety, infection prevention practices, and regulatory compliance
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes, care standards, and satisfaction
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure smooth care coordination and transitions
Assist with staffing needs and provide leadership support during weekend operations
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma
Current BLS certification
Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Ability to work a weekend day shift with flexibility to cover occasional evening shifts as needed
Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as well as push/pull equipment as needed
