Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate gross dissection and detailed description of surgical specimens across the full case spectrum — from routine biopsies to complex cancer resections
  • Specimen processing and submission for histologic processing and special studies
  • Rotate between the laboratory's privately owned laboratory (primary grossing site) and a woman's hospital lab, ensuring broad, balanced clinical exposure

  • Contribute to lab workflow coordination and other duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $78K-145K Depending on Experience, Education, Certification
  • Full comprehensive benefits
  • 401K with match and profit share available after 1 year of service
  • Private practice environment versus a hospital system
  • Broad case volume and specimen diversity across two active sites
