Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, organizing and conducting effective educational programs in the areas of traditional language, arts and crafts, agriculture, natural resources, farming and traditional hunting and food gathering. The individual is responsible for encouraging student participation to enhance developmental skills. Additionally, the incumbent is also responsible for providing maintenance and care of the facilities, grounds and/or landscape for the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Brighton Community Culture Center. High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in education system-related projects is or experience serving as cultural instructor or Arts, Crafts, wood carving or similar cultural field is preferred. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is highly desirable. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
