Job description

We are a beloved local bakery entering an exciting new chapter. We are evolving into a farm-to-table, artisan bakery and café focused on seasonal ingredients, traditional baking methods, and creating meaningful experiences for our community.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Artisan Baker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality, and loves creating exceptional baked goods from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, muffins, cookies, scones, croissants, and specialty items
  • Follow recipes and production schedules while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Assist with dough preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO methods
  • Properly label and store ingredients and finished products
  • Support seasonal menu development and new product ideas
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

  • Bakery experience preferred
  • Passion for artisan baking and quality ingredients
  • Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
