Job description

Bennett Aerospace, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC has an opening for a Senior Analyst (Financial and Business Planning) . This position can be located in either the Aberdeen, MD area or the Ft. Belvoir, VA area.
The Senior Analyst will support strategic, financial, and business planning. The position will develop and analyze program and budget information used for POM, BES, President's Budget, and congressional appropriations requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Support strategic, financial, and business planning for Army research and technology activities.
  • Assist with the development of applied research, innovative technology, advanced component development, and manufacturing technology plans.
  • Align activities and resources with annual POM and BES requirements.
  • Analyze appropriations and recommend how available funding can be aligned with mission priorities.
  • Coordinate and develop budget exhibits supporting congressional appropriations and the President's Budget.
  • Develop RDTE program requirements, funding information, program descriptions, and budget justifications.
  • Coordinate planned activities and funding requirements with divisions.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, information papers, financial analyses, and leadership briefings.
  • Review program and budget data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
  • Identify financial or programmatic issues and recommend resolution.
  • Support senior-level financial reviews and respond to data calls and requests for information.

Qualifications
  • Five or more years of relevant strategic planning, business planning, financial analysis, budget, or program-analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing appropriations and aligning funding with organizational requirements.
  • Knowledge of Government program planning, budgeting, or financial-execution processes.
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation-development, and coordination skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinate across technical, programmatic, and financial organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting Army research activities or RDTE programs.
  • Familiarity with POM, BES, President's Budget, congressional budget exhibits, or Army financial systems.

Hiring Range for this position: $114,500 - $130,900
