Summary

Goldbelt is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian (RD) to support the U.S. Army Reserve's Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Performance Team. The Registered Dietitian serves as a subject matter expert responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering evidence-based performance nutrition programs designed to optimize Soldier readiness, improve body composition, enhance recovery, and maximize physical and cognitive performance.

Working as part of an interdisciplinary Human Performance Team, the Registered Dietitian collaborates closely with the Strength and Conditioning Coach, Athletic Trainer, Cognitive Performance Specialist, Government leadership, and H2F Integration Teams to support Army Reserve units throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement command-specific Performance Nutrition Programs (PNP) in accordance with Army Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) doctrine.
  • Provide individual and group performance nutrition counseling focused on improving Soldier readiness, recovery, resilience, and operational performance.
  • Develop nutrition education programs, fueling strategies, meal planning guidance, hydration recommendations, and performance nutrition resources tailored to the Army Reserve operational environment.
  • Support Soldiers participating in the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) through evidence-based counseling and sustainable nutrition strategies.
  • Develop educational materials, presentations, resource guides, and practical tools supporting performance nutrition and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary Human Performance Team members to integrate nutrition strategies supporting physical readiness, cognitive performance, injury prevention, sleep readiness, and recovery.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to H2F Integration Teams (HITs) and unit leadership on foundational performance nutrition principles.
  • Participate in planning meetings, working groups, and synchronization sessions with Government personnel.
  • Prepare required reports, after-action reviews, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Complete all mandatory Government and installation training requirements.
  • Maintain all required licenses, certifications, registrations, and credentials throughout employment.
  • Support recurring travel requirements throughout the Pacific region.
Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to develop evidence-based injury prevention and recovery programs.
  • Strong understanding of movement analysis, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with military leadership and Soldiers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of a didactic program in dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Must possess:
    • Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
    • Current unrestricted state licensure where required for non-personal healthcare services.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last four (4) years providing performance nutrition services to military personnel, tactical populations, collegiate athletes, professional athletes, or other high-performing populations.
  • Current RD/RDN registration.
  • Current state licensure throughout employment, when applicable.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Travel Required: Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Guam, American Samoa, Japan, and South Korea; A valid U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one if needed is required.
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with the following:
    • Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
    • Army Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F)
    • Human Performance Optimization (HPO)
    • Tactical Human Optimization, Rapid Rehabilitation and Reconditioning (THOR3)
    • Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF)
    • Military Human Performance programs
    • Collegiate or professional athletics
    • Tactical performance nutrition
    • Sports nutrition and performance fueling
    • Army Body Composition Program (ABCP)
    • Nutrition support for tactical athletes
    • Knowledge of Army H2F doctrine and performance nutrition principles.
    • Ability to develop evidence-based nutrition education programs.
Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000.
