Job Description

ARG Roofing is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our growing sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching sales representatives while driving revenue through strong leadership and accountability. This role requires hands-on involvement in the field, refining sales processes, and ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds performance goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in roofing, construction, or home improvement, and the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives
  • Conduct daily check-ins, weekly coaching sessions, and field training
  • Set sales goals and hold the team accountable to KPIs (inspections, sign-ups, contracts closed)
  • Manage sales pipeline, reporting, and forecasting using company systems
  • Support team members on sales calls and customer negotiations
  • Ensure all sales processes and standards are followed consistently
  • Represent ARG Roofing at community events and in the local market

Qualifications

  • Proven sales leadership experience (roofing, construction, or home improvement preferred)
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to motivate, train, and hold others accountable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools
  • Willingness to work in the field alongside the sales team

Preferred:

  • Roofing or construction industry knowledge (insurance and retail sales)
  • Experience with canvassing/door-to-door sales management
  • Familiarity with JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or similar software
