Job description

Lead a Restaurant. Build a Career.

Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta is looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead one of our growing locations.

For over 13 years, we've built our reputation on quality food, exceptional service, and strong leadership. As we continue expanding across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we're looking for leaders who want more than just a management position—they want to help build a company.

If you're passionate about developing people, driving results, and creating an outstanding guest experience, we want to meet you.

Compensation

  • $58,000–$65,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Performance-based bonus program
  • Leadership development and coaching
  • Advancement opportunities into multi-unit and district leadership as the company continues to grow

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead all daily restaurant operations
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Coach employees and managers to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Drive sales while managing labor and food cost goals
  • Maintain outstanding food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards
  • Create employee schedules and maintain proper staffing levels
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, cash handling, payroll verification, and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure company SOPs, food safety standards, and operational procedures are consistently followed
  • Build a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Experience managing labor, food cost, scheduling, and inventory
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Willingness to lead from the front and support every area of the restaurant when needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for leaders—not supervisors.

The ideal candidate leads by example, holds high standards, develops strong teams, and takes ownership of their restaurant's success. They understand that great guest experiences begin with a motivated team and consistent execution.

Why Join Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta?

  • Established and growing restaurant company with over 13 years of success
  • Opportunity to grow into District Manager and multi-unit leadership
  • Leadership team that values accountability, development, and operational excellence
  • A company where high performers are recognized and given opportunities to advance
  • Stable, long-term career with a growing Texas restaurant brand

If you're ready to lead a team, make an impact, and grow your career with a company that's expanding, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and become part of the leadership team at Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta.
