Area Manager

Waxing the City – Alpharetta & Cumming

Waxing the City is looking for an energetic, positive, and results-driven Area Manager to lead and support our Alpharetta and Cumming studios.
We aren’t looking for someone who simply keeps the studios running. We’re looking for someone who will become the heartbeat of our studios—part coach, part cheerleader, part marketing expert, and always an incredible ambassador for the Waxing the City brand.
The right person has a sparkling personality, naturally connects with people, and genuinely enjoys creating an environment where both clients and employees feel welcomed, valued, and excited to be there.
This position supports both our Alpharetta and Cumming locations. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able and willing to travel regularly between both studios.

What You’ll Do

Lead, Coach & Motivate

  • Create a positive, high-energy culture across both studios.
  • Serve as a coach and cheerleader for the team—not just a boss.
  • Build consistency and teamwork between our Alpharetta and Cumming locations.
  • Set clear expectations while providing encouragement, accountability, and support.
  • Recognize wins, celebrate progress, and help team members reach their individual and studio goals.
  • Lead team meetings, training, and ongoing development.

Create an Amazing Client Experience

  • Be a friendly, professional, and recognizable face of our studios.

Drive Studio Performance

  • Take ownership of goals and results across both locations.
  • Track key performance indicators including bookings, rebooking, memberships, retail sales, client retention, and overall revenue.
  • Coach the team around opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing based on the needs of each studio.
  • Oversee inventory and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Maintain beautiful, clean, organized, and professional studio environments.
  • Regularly work from and maintain a strong presence at both the Alpharetta and Cumming studios.
